GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® method is found by Juliu Horvath.
The GYROTONIC® method is an original and unique movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion and creating functional strength.
GYROTONIC® exercises are adapted to fit anyone's ability, from those recovering from injury or living with a disability to elite athletes.
Recovering from a back injury herself, Chiara has firsthand experience in using exercise as a powerful tool for healing. Her journey has not only transformed her own health but also fueled her passion to help others. She specializes in correcting posture and building muscle in teenage dancers and athletes, aiming to protect them from injuries through proper training techniques, targeted exercises, and regular form and progress assessments.
GYROKINESIS® Method movement principles offer the similar benefits also found in yoga, dance, gymnastics, swimming and tai chi, but are not derived from these other exercise modalities.
GYROKINESIS® exercise is the core of Horvath's method. The system works the entire body through seven natural elements of spinal movement: forward, backward, left side, right side, left twist, right twist and circular, as well as all other joint articulation.
This method systematically and gently works the joints and muscles through rhythmic and undulating exercises. Movement stimulates the body's internal organs and different corresponding breathing patterns are integrated.
